I used to think that non-stop stress and headaches were normal.

My problem, I believed, is that I also had twitches throughout my body, insomnia and seemed to get sick at every turn.

I felt like I wasn’t tough or strong enough.

“Why,” I wondered “can everyone else around me work so hard, but when I DO, I get SICK?”

Funny thing is, back then I didn’t even realize how stressed I was until I started seeing an acupuncturist and she asked me about stress.

I wanted help with my allergies, the twitching, headaches and insomnia.

She assured me that all of those concerns would be treated as we focused on treating my stress.

Addressing my stress was the beginning of many beginnings.

Around that time I heard Wayne Dyer say, “There are no rules in this life” and something in me came alive.

I knew, on a very deep level, the truth of what he said.

I DIDN’T HAVE TO CONTINUE ON THIS busy, stress-filled PATH.

I could write my own rules.

Let’s do this together.

We can jump off the hustle train of stress and busyness and write our own rules.

This June issue of Ease Magazine is all about finding our way back to EASE in the body.

In the main article, Stress making you sick?, you’ll find stress-reduction resources.

Check out the Yum! section for a nutrient-dense Mango, Arugula salad recipe (super yum), and don’t miss the documentary, Heal, in the Inspired section. It has a dozen experts talking describing the power of the body to heal itself.

Oh, and don’t forget to check out the extra humor provided in the Love it and Hilarious sections. Humor is an incredible healer.

I hope that this issue of Ease Magazine helps you feel way more ease in your mind + body.
